Promise Ring

Hi Peeps!

Promise rings can mean a variety of different things to certain people. When my beautiful daughter turned thirteen we presented her a Promise ring.

                             We talked about all the wonderful reasons to wait for marriage:
A. Only one person to be intimate with.
B. Special time.
C. God's beautiful design.
D. ....and you can be awkward together

                                              We also spoke of the not so great side:
A. Diseases
B. Not prepared to parent
C. ....and that person not truly caring for you.

The promise she made was not to us her parents but to Herself & God. We will still Love her and help her if she breaks her promise. But for now we love,pray,and cherish her. She is one Amazing child, I get to cherish and for that, I am truly grateful.
