Pictures tell a story but scrapbooking really brings life to it. Here is a few pages I've done.

Dollar Tree Haul

Hi Peeps!

Went to Dollar Tree to see if I could find some good smelling men gel for my son. We never found anything he liked but I found a few things I liked.



  Found a Hello Kitty word fine book,Hello KItty stickers,Essie fingernail stickers,Dermasil lotion,and Butterfinger candy. Got his sister and him candy as well but they ate it.

 

My son wanted to try some Axe gel and wanted a round brush for his hair. He has been watching Youtube on how to style hair,lol. Its adorable watching him grow up and figuring his "style" out.

He even wanted to try the deodorant as well.

Thinking Adoption?

Hi Peeps!

Your curious about the Ins and Outs of adoption? Do your research on the different adoption agencies or are you going the CPS route? Ask tons of questions from the agency to people who have gone before. Here is what I've learned:

-Every agency does things different and has different requirements.
-CPS and an Agency have the same goals; to help hurting children.
-Attend an Informational meeting and ask a Ton of Questions.
-Figure out if you want to foster,foster to adopt,infant adoption,or older children.
-Ask about the fees so you know what is required of you.
-Read adoption books. I Highly recommend,The Connected Child:Bring Hope and HEaling to Your Adoptive Family by Karen Purvis,David Cross,and Wendy Sunshine.

Savour the Moments

Hi Peeps!

Sometimes, I just look at my kids and cry; they are growing up. It's neat to watch them go through the different stages of life. I am realising I no longer pick their clothes or hair style. However It is hard because they are growing and gaining independence. Wish they could stay little sweet things forever. I am so grateful they call me Mom.

For my weekend getaway, I needed a nice shirt for whatever he has planned. My husband let me get a few things and it counted as my Mother's Day gift. I am truly grateful for and blessed to be spoiled every now and then. Here is what I got:

Hi Peeps!

My husband is taking me on a weekend getaway in Eight days! The only thing he would tell me is the hotel we are staying at. It is Absolutely beautiful! It's going to be a real treat since we don't get away Very often. I am looking forward to seeing what he has planned and I will share with you! For now, I will leave you Awesome pictures I found.

A No Go Curriculum

Hi Peeps!

Every child learns differently and with that certain curriculum works and doesn't. Why not open the box and let every kid learn the way their brain works. Wanted to share some good curriculum but just didn't work for our kids. Perhaps they will work for your child(ren).

-Saxon math- It seemed to go to fast for them and they just seemed to not grasp it.
-Christian Light Publications- If you don't use this from the beginning it can be difficult(its advanced).
-Monarch(Online) Kind of on the fence about this one. Feel like they need to offer more study time before quizzes and test.
